Don't want to spoil the fun of Christmas.

DRINK DRIVING WARNING

I know we are mostly car owners who are responsible,.??

BUT.. this is a warning to be careful about drink driving as we are getting close to Christmas.

Last night I was out for a few Beers with friends in my local ..

One thing lead to another and I had way too many Beers topped off with a couple of Jaegerbombs etc etc .. !! ?? Not a good idea!!

Knowing I was way over the limit i do what i normally do ... and left my car @ the pub for collection the next day.. ?

On this occasion, as there is a bus stop opposite the pub, I decided to take the bus home. Sure enough, I passed a police checkpoint where they were pulling over drivers and performing breathalizer tests.

Because I was in a bus they just waved it past.

I arrived back at home safely and without incident ??

The problem I now have is ... what the f**k am i gonna do with it! ????..?? Have a safe one.

For me the deterrent of being caught should not hold primacy in the mind of those who are stupidly tempted to drink and drive ....

I called the police on my cousin last week when he tried to get in the car after an all day session and all other attempts to stop him had failed. Apparently I'm the arsehole out of the two of us now......do I care what he thinks about that? Absolutely not!

That was a very Bebe thing to do. Well done for sticking to your guns even though you knew it would result in a fall out

Getting stopped and breathalysed is something that never crosses my mind, destroying a whole family because id rather get in my car, rather than a taxi, and end up killing someone's loved one.

That stops me drinking and driving, I wont even drive the next day after a heavy night out, id rather walk, happily whistling a tune knowing that I've not killed anyone

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

There are more folk caught drink driving in summer than over the festive period, like the old advert about pets not being just for Christmas, drink driving awareness is the same.

Brilliantly put my good man and completely the right way of looking at it.
