I bought someone an engagement ring once.... found out she had been cheating on me for three years 2 weeks before Christmas.......

....so I have a spare engagement ring now (which is kind of fitting since there are so many marriage threads today).... Its in the loft, solitaire amber diamond..... erm........ awkward......

A couple of watches which is the only jewellery I wear, sentimental value on both too so they're my (his) favourites. Worst is easy, a portable television which blew up ten minutes in, never got replaced either and was the last ever gift from that person.

Nothing stands out as particularly great or naff but i do have a family member who persists in buying alcohol for me. I very seldom drink, last years bottle remains unopened.

I wish she would save her money and not get me anything rather than buy me something that won't be d*unk and enjoyed.

ive had a few worst type ones in the past off the ex -

beegees cd that he wanted not me - went into his car

a leaf blower/sucker thing to make my job of clearing the garden easier
