The best place I found for actual stockings was the Ann Summers shop. Certainly for fishnets...

I have used Debenhams as well. Anne summers are overpriced for what you get( a pair of stockings that ladder as you put them on ,a good 8 pounds well spent there)

Agreed Anne Summers stuff is pretty crap. Some tell me primark is pretty good. I have bought hold ups from Tesco before 2 pairs for £5 I use them for work but they don't last.

I like Primark ones, and I am told that they are manufactured by pretty Polly anyway.

That might be difficult as they went into administration in may.

A clothing firm which supplied BHS has gone out of business, blaming the collapse of the high street store.

Derbyshire based Courtaulds, which made Pretty Polly tights, went into administration with the loss of 350 jobs.

CUK Clothing, which merged with Courtaulds in 2006, also went into administration.

They traded under the Pretty Polly brand and also made private-label clothing for retailers.
