So after reading many profiles on here there seams to be a wide variety in the definition of what people describe as curvy Men and women.

My definition is for a lass the old hour glass shape.

For a man using my self as an example

I'm Curvy at the moment as I have a slight beer belly haha.

Hope nobody takes any offence to this post it's not ment in a nasty way just a question

I'm hour glass from the front view. More brandy glass from a side view

I'd go for plump, but it's not an option.

I have curvy on mine, whether I gain or lose a bit of weight i still think I'm a curvy shape. Feel free to disagree though this is the forum after all!

Curvy means not fat and not thin .

To me curvy is slim with a femanine shape not fat

Again to me if you have an over hang on your belly, back rolls and your nipples point south thats not curvy

This for me too I have an hour glass figure which is why I ticked that box but I'm not exactly skinny so I guess it works for both.

I have an 'hour glass' figure. My waist is ten inches smaller than my breasts and my hips.

I am also slim - my waist is 25 inches.

I am also athletic - I lift weights for fun.

I would suggest that on this site (and others like it) 'curvy' is a euphemism for 'fat'. A bit overweight. As you suggest - perhaps it means 'a beer belly' and whatever the female equivalent to a beer belly is.

I had a guy mail me yesterday saying how he loved my pics then went onto saying he loved BBWs the bigger the better and i was perfect for him

I mean i know there is room for improvement but being told i was a bigger the better BBW knocked me a bit

I think there should simply be the option "perfect". I have looked at the ladies on this thread and although the figures vary they are ALL fabulous.

This may sound shallow or the I'm desperate (im not) but doesn't the quote "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" ?

I'm slightly over weight at the moment but there is no option for that either lol

A touch of green-eyed envy on her part I'd say!

I'm extremely hourglass shaped, 34GG and size 16...losing and gaining weight doesn't change my proportions at all. I've been a curvy size 10 so 'curvy' is definitely not always a euphemism for fat.

I'm not slim, athletic, don't lift weights and don't favour the androgynous look...but nor do I make snide digs at those that do

ive had three c sections my belly is shot, its so flabby and loose and no mattet what i do it just wont go, plus ive recently lost 6 stone (and still more to go) so that didn't help plus my tits are saggy now so i'll never carry the label curvy i'll always be a saggy fat bastard no matter how much i loose
