"bargain hunter here - so depends how cheap I'm the expiry date price-cut champion of the world..... " I'd be a close runner up, as soon as I see the assistant walking purposely, pricing gun with the yellow labels in hand, I'm like Usain Bolt, straight to the reduced aisle

"Do you shop for branded goods....? " Nope, over the years I've found that there's not that much difference in quality between expensive branded goods and the cheaper products...in fact, I still have a pair of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, still look good too 10 years after buying them for a fiver from a supermarket!

"With clothes I find the more highbrow the store the more I'm attracted to the sale or clearance rails got a nice Gap jacket & Jeff Banks shirt yesterday for £50 I agree that sometimes buying quality pays, was feeling rather happy once and paid £125 for one pair of black trousers for work from a gentlemen's outfitters. They still look like new now, some fifteen years later & are beautifully made. S" I do *lots* of activities that are hard on my clothes. My walking boots cost £140, but are now 12 years old and used regularly. I have long leather yard boots that cost £120 three years ago and still look brand new - again used regularly. My sports clothes ans trainers are branded but last for ages - and I excercise most days. Having said that, I mostly shop out of season and in the sales... so...

"Posh trainers.... Oh'com-on...seriously.... surely not not.... I mean, would wearing posh trainers help you jog while balancing a book on your head ...... Hey that's we were made to do at the posh people finishing school I went too ....... " I have trainers that are smart for wearing out to places that require half decent footwear, and trainers that I wear for exercise.

"We go to Cheshire Oaks for discounted label items, sometmes they're cheaper than high street stuff. We keep to a reasonable budget. " The designer names in outlet villages often have a different range for their outlet stores. It's often substandard and nowhere near as good as their regular lines. Worth keeping in mind.

Not the yard boots obviously, but the general sentiment.

We know that. Armani jeans are good there, some north face stuff too and the odd jewellery pieces at Michael Kors, however, their range of bags are awful there which is why we buy elsewhere. There's still bargains to be had there though besides the labels mentioned.

Cuteness and availability in huge hobbit size feet is my only real consideration ....

"Do you shop for branded goods....? " Not deliberately, other than a few brands of food I don't think can be bettered. And the bloody cats refuse to eat anything but Whiskas. I know what I like when I see it and I don't care if it's branded or not but unfortunately my eye's often caught by expensive stuff - like I saw some lovely knee high boots in a magazine the other day which typically turned out to be Jimmy Choos at £1500 and will have to wait for the lottery win ...

"Of course! Some of the cheap shit is cheap for a reason Mrsdpt wouldn't be seen dead buying cheap beans in Waitrose carrying her Louis Vuitton handbag, while spending the £50 note we just found outside on the floor next to the sleeping homeless guy. Only Heinz beans for us! " I don't think I've ever been in Waitrose.....
