My spelling isn't too bad but my grammar can be weak.

I'm at sea with colons, semi-colons and some apostrophes and my sentence structure is often criticised.

I do admit that if I can't properly understand what someone has written its unlikely that we would get along in the context of brief meets for fab purposes. I wouldn't discount them as friends though.

Don't you just hate coordinating conjunctions? I struggle to work out if a comma is really needed there. My grandfather, an old school headmaster, would be turning in his grave, if he weren't cremated. How do you like my subjunctive?

yeaah cuz like anyone who would start a thread complaining about the grammatical articulacy of others would never neglect to put right the 18 grammatical inaccuracies on their own profile and would probably be disgusted at their own inability to spell the word guaranteed properly

Just a few points OP.

Firstly one never uses a comma before or after the word and. Additionally the use of proper is incorrect when describing the standard of comprehension that some may use when corresponding on FAB.

That said your spelling is reasonable.

I wouldn't dream of looking at the profile of a fellow fab follower who didn't know how to use a comma correctly!

However Ms Busty your profile on the other hand how could one resist? The contents of your profile perked up what is a very ordinary Friday morning. Great spelling too!

More to the point, there shouldn't be a comma there at all. I have issues with the Oxford comma at the best of times, but when it's used unnecessarily it makes my eye twitch.
