I took filters off for a bit out of curiosity. It currently stands at 1602 so filters are resuming again soon. If I see a message from someone I like, I read it. Otherwise it sits there until I can compose a polite message if they have read my profile or delete it.

Ditto. On the not getting many and on the not being arsed so filters. I have 10. It's been 10 since I turned my filters back on a couple of months back. It's a nice round number and I am intrigued to see how long it will take them to drop off.
