The answer to your question is simple, "because there are lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of single men on here", you can get rid of all the single men by paying just £5 for membership, and then adjusting the "who is nearby" search to only search for those which match your preferences

As Pauly correctly stated, you need to be a site supporter in order to filter the results. Just goes to show the proportion of males to females on fab
