Only saw rouge one the other week and have no intention of ever watching it again will watch the solo spin off but thats about it. I like rebels tv series but to me star wars is the episode movies not spin off movies and the prequels were just shite.

I loved rogue one, it fitted in perfectly i think. I know everyone has their own opinions but i think its good to see some of the other bits as they answer the questions and plot holes of the originals

I watched it a couple of days after release (due to work) and thought it was the dogs bollocks. I have every intention of watching it again when the blu ray comes out....over and over until my face falls off

Watched all the episodes recently. I don't mind 1-3. In fact as time goes by i think we'll find the younger audience enjoying them on a par with 4-6. As my son said to me "why do 4-6 look, a bit rubbish?"

Rougue one was mediocre at best, its hard to get invested when you already know the outcome because we knew it was a prelude to episode 4 a new hope. So when the films plot is will this group manage to get the death star plans into the rebellion hands, we already know they did before the film even starts.

so its just a film about the events on how they did it but there is never any intruique or suspense because the outcome was already known.

so many possible storys the star wars universe could have went with as its vast and spans hundreds of years and all we got was another movie about the death star.

episode 4 death star related,

Episode 5 death star related

episode 7 a rehash of episode 4 but with a death star size of a planet.

And now rougue one about the death star.

thats 4 movies out of 8... I think they wasted a good spin off movie on somthing that wasnt needed and should have done somthing on how the sith came to be.

sorry nerd rage over haha

Fucking Loved it.

Love K2SO, sassiest droid ever. Wish he could be in other films

I've watched it so many times. Darker, funnier and no forced romances.

In your nerd rage you managed to get ep 5 and 6 all mixed up

Don't worry about the origins of the sith, disney will wring every drop from the star wars universe. They wanted their Darth Vader moment, actually probably demanded it, kerching! But i'm not complaining, every nanosecond of star wars cinematography is meat and drink to me

Sheer brilliance. Rogue One was fantastic! It's back to Star Wars of how it used to be... Before those fucking awful prequels.

Rogue one is a stand alone movie, BB8 appeared in episode IIV the force awakens

The Han Solo movie will be very interesting I'm sure.

I bought the Americam 3D steelbook online and then the 3D Blu Ray set from Sainsbury's yesterday. Just finished my third viewing from that alone (after 5 times at the cinema).

It's the inclusion of characters that you never knew or cared about who were in the original trilogy but in Rogue One that really grabbed me. I might watch it again tonight lol

I am a huge Star Wars fan but this was a very generic, paint by numbers 'heroes who all get killed in the name of a bigger cause' movie.

Disappointing!

Hopefully The Last Jedi will be back to form.

It fits perfectly. The whole set up is great. It helps if you're a huge Star Wars fan to get the full picture I guess. Best to look at it from Rogue One and ignore the prequels.

I'd have to correct you there seaside, bothans stole the plans for the 2nd Deathstar. As for fitting in, the film takes you right up to almost the opening scene of a new hope, how does it not fit in?
