I had arranged a meet last night just for a drink and see how we get on and she didn't turn up and didn't have the decency to let me know.

How many of you has arranged a meet and been stood up?

Only ever by the one guy ... but he always had some excuse and use to come back. In the end I stopped holding my breath and every Time we arranged a meet I would have a back up plan ... he didn't always stand me up though probably a ratio of like 1:3..

.

Never been stood up. I've had a social where there was no attraction but I wouldn't stand someone up and haven't been so far. It's quite crappy but sadly it happens.

shits creek

3 times.

Twice by the same guy, he had got called into work.

Once by a couple that had been messaging me for ages to meet....they messaged saying they'd be 10 mins and that was the last I heard until a few weeks later.

And you are 100% it's was a female ?? Did you speak on phone or go on cam to confirm? Unfortunately guys do set up fake fem profiles so if you didn't speak before meet arranged then best to use it as a learn .

If you had spoke to 'her" and arranged date ,place and time and they got cold feet I'm afraid that happens and yes ideally they should have the guts to just tell you . Ive had guys go silent on day im meant to meet them ,I text them the day before to confirm and if I don't hear back I text on the day confirming as I heard nothing I take it they aren't interested in meeting and a good bye from me!

Saves wasted hair, makeup ,petrol and time .

I've not yet been stood up but i have inadvertantly stood someone up. A case of crossed wires and i thought we were meeting the following day.

Thankfully it didn't cause him too much inconvenience - it was a social in a coffee shop a few minutes walk from his place. We did meet the following day and have a lovely meet but there was no chemistry so we didn't do anything more than have a cuppa and a chat.

I've never been stood up as yet so I consider myself lucky really. It can happen it's just nice to receive some honesty about the situation rather than no communication at all

Nil.... Either I'm very lucky (my lottery tickets tell a different story) or my selection process is very good. ,

Not stood up as such. But I arranged a short notice meet with a couple. They gave me the address and said what car would be outside. I pulled up and everything seemed normal. Knocked on the door to find the angriest man alive. Pissed off because I was the 4th guy to knock on his door that night and he knew nothing about it.

Logged back into fab and found myself blocked. Guessing it was an account just looking to piss of a neighbour

Last minute excuses tend to be the thing on here.

I've had friends who have been in a pub, waiting, and their date just hasn't turned up. It's brutal.

Yep. Happened to me on Saturday.

Reported, deleted and blocked, but don't dwell on it. Most likely a fake

Sort of. Arranged a meet with a guy I'd been chatting with for weeks. I messaged him when I was in the taxi (as planned), only for him to tell me he thought I was fake as I wouldn't give him my phone number, so he wasn't dressed! I went out anyway, sat in the pub for an hour, had a drink of courage, ticked the 'meet today' section, met a lovely bloke and...... Was a nice day in the end
