I don't; I just take it on the chin and then post a thread about how "abnormal" I am because I can take it on the chin; thus creating a paradox, because if I didnt really care then why the fucking hell would I bother making a thread about how fantastic a human being I am for being able to take rejection on the chin, even though I had been strung out for like, well lets say, a month.... but in the end it didn't matter, because I can take it on the chin, and well you never know, I might get a sympathy shag

I've had some reject me quite insultingly before today's still didn't bother me. I've also had insults for daring to reject others.

So I sent him packing obviously.... not sure why that happened but in general no one has said no yet

Women.... Women fucking hate getting rejected; but women have pride and don't generally come on the forums and bang on about getting rejected, probably because they are more intelligent too.... although some do update their statuses to accommodate for a momentary lapse of pride....

Men are more vocal about being rejected; but then again, given the numbers, thats not surprising....

the worst? Couples.... reject a couple at your fucking peril

Sorry OP. I was single for many many years, so off the sex/dating scene if you will. If I'd been involved for longer, maybe I would have been rejected by messages... That being said, I've only messaged a handful off my own back. They usually message first, and as my face pics are on show, they already know what to expect

Well I'll hold my hands up and admit to being crap at rejection. I won't lash out and get abusive or start pissy threads about it, but I do tend to take it to heart more than I should. I'm not sure if that's anything to do with me being a woman rather than a man though.

I can only speak from my own experience on here. I've never been offended when told I am not their cup of tea or the message is deleted and not replied to. It happens for guys. If they can't deal with the concept that you can't appeal to everyone, this may not be the place for them.

But.... the ladies that I have said no thank you to have, all bar one, not taken it well. At all

More to do with denting pride than taking it to heart, depends on how sensitive the person is.

I would guess men take on more rejection overall on a daily basis so I'm not too surprised some act the way they do.

I'm not too sure if the tables were turned that it would sit well with me either if I'm being honest.

i am big enough to understand that i am not everyone's cup of tea. as i have my filters on, im always messaging first and therefore i am prepared for and have received rejection. but i don't start a thread about it. i trust the person rejecting has their reasons why we are not compatible and leave it like that. they should know themselves, better than i know them x
