In Blankets. Is it socially acceptable to eat them on days other than the days we call Christmas and Boxing?

I'm a stickler for etiquette.

Fantastic. When I see them in a supermarket I have to say out loud in a booming voice PIIIIGS IIIIN BLANKETS. Like they used to say pigs in space on the Muppets. Don't know why. Just happens.

I haven't had a pig in a blanket all year. I did go through a phase of making devils on horseback with prunes wrapped in bacon.

Christmas day evening constantly going to oven for more but by boxing day fed up of the sight of them.

Same for preparing them as well, nothing better than spending Christmas eve afternoon undertaking same but wouldn't waste my time rest of the year.

Bah, humbug sir and a pox upon your house!

Just wrong all the time in my opinion! You have either a sausage or some bacon. Don't wrap them together. Ever!

Gasp!!! I would never countenance binding a noble Cumberland with a streaky rasher but surely a chippolata is enhanced by such a fine adornement.

I'm going to say no Ricky. Just don't do it. A chippolata is for life, not just at Christmas.
