I notice a lot of flawed thinking about safe sex here

'it's fine, I have checkups regularly'

An after the fact exam can't prevent infection in any way, you can only manage the risk with who you do or dont fuck and how careful you are with condoms and sex juice

you are fine if you go for check ups though, even if you catch something.

you can then be treated, and abstain from passing anything on in the meantime.

that's the whole point in going, to make sure you are healthy and be treated if you are not.

i agree it's not to prove you are safe or clean.

Indeed, but all sex presents some risk, so it's a good idea to keep getting checked to make sure
