I go to the ballet on my own all the time.... mainly because I am a skinny fella, and I do lunges on the steps outside the ROH in the hope that the ladies coming out fancy taking home a ballet dancer physique.....

....thats probably not the best reason for going to the ballet I concede

I went to boarding school and we used to have trips to the opera & ballet in London a couple of times a year. A few of us used to sneak out and bugger off to the pub for an hour or so

I'm on cloakrooms duty they wont let go front of house and I'm banned from entering the dancers changing room since that episode where I was caught faffing in a tutu..

No I went to the ballet years ago when I was London...I hated it, it's boring as fuck, I mean the first five minutes your thinking, well that's pretty nifty dancing... Then after an hour, I was like when's the bar open, this is killing me

I wouldn't have minded so much but she made the mistake of telling me how much the ballet tickets were before we went in....

I was hoping for alot for that price, razzmatazz, big fireworks, cannons, glittery stuff flying from the ceiling.

Not a sausage.... And the bar was ridiculously expensive to the extent that I couldn't even afford to get d*unk.

See, I've never bought ballet tickets. I've always gotten them as presents because, apparently, young girls are supposed to like the ballet...

But whenever I've gone it's been at Lincoln Center and I wouldn't turn down tickets to Lincoln Center no matter what the tickets were for.

Well seing as you put it lik that, I could bring one and we could both have a faff in your cloakroom during the second half

It will have to be a quick faff because I usually riffle through the coat pockets during the 2nd act
