R.I.P. Ian McCaskill

My favourite weather forecaster when I was a kid, has passed away at the age of 78.

I still remember the Spitting Image puppet of him too - I loved it - especially with the enthusiastic 'Hulloooo'

This year is a death disaster for me I'm willing away the days till 2017.

I've lost 3 people all the same age as me least he made it to his 70's

Ian when he did the weather forecasts he always came across as nice and there were a team of forecasters then all on bbc1 as the years advanced more and more new faces popped up and probabily still do Ian was probabily the last of the old school with michael fish etc I,d much prefer to listen to someone from the old school than the modern one.... R.I.P. Ian.
