MrWho was in the army too. It hurts everyone to lose their best friend.

I've raised 3 generations of Border Collies in the past and they do become part of your family

I went out with a lass back in the 80's and we had a Terrier cross called Hector that got hit by a car and suffered brain damage, still managed to make it to the ripe old age of 17 though, 9 years after the accident.
