Time waster

What is with people. You plan a date and time, where to meet and a the last minute (Hour or two ) the cancellation comes.

I've been here over a year I am getting peed off with it is there any genuine people around any more.

Lots u just need to plod on I've been on meets where I turned up at pre-arranged destination only to be stood up but it hasn't fazed me bed advise I can give is attend a few socials and parties and get your face known

Yes I did family had a lot to do with it (as in mum) so it was hard to do what I enjoyed family come first.

They have cancelled for whatever reason but don't see how they are time wasters. I define a time waster as someone you travel to meet at the arranged venue and they no show. There may be a legitimate reason for cancelling or they may have got cold feet but at least they told you before you travelled. I have cancelled a couple of hours before a meet because of child care/family issues, I'm not a time waster and re arranged the meet shortly after.

Annoying but real life takes priority. look on the bright side - you might not have had anyone contact you at all so at least thy did and also you weren't left hanging. As it were...

If it happens to you a lot OP then maybe consider changing your selection process and see if things improve?

The more complex the sexual life thats lived, the greater the permutations for the number of others, their families, careers etc that can crop up as meet blockers.

If youre sure the people are genuine, having gotten to know them and filtred out poor choices, thats the best uou can do.

Socials, clubs etc all allow you to mingle with real people in the flesh. For everything else, its going to depend upon availability not being curtailed by extraneous factors.

Vanilla dating isnt subject to the same levels of potential meet curtailment factors. Its a choice we make but our skills levels at managing it can be improved.

I've had meets cancelled and then rearranged them and had a great time.
