What do all you fabsters class as cheating?? Exchanging texts/emails/pictures.. or does it have to be physical?

Also and what point would you say enough and end the relationship??

Agree with _iamondsmiles. And If my husband even sent flirty texts to women without me knowing then I wouldn't be impressed so if he physically cheated he would get a boot out of the door. I like to join in

We send flirty messages on here but it's something we do together and it's fun.

If you are going to keep something hidden from your partner then it is cheating ( although obviously , how many handbags you have is exempt )

was just curious about it with Ryan Giggs' wife staying with him. Personally i think she's a mug as with anyone who stands by someone who cheats.

Id certainly not tolerate it.. he's only sorry because he got caught

I must be pretty liberal minded then, because Kate has got loads of male friends that she constantly flirts with, and it doesn't bother me one little bit. I do sometimes I see what she has written and sometimes it can be quite racy

BUT.... she wouldn't like it if I did it.

Happily I have never been in that position so don't know an answer for sure of what I would do.

But, I do think because we are open with each other and obviously invite others into our lives now and then, there would be no reason for either of us to cheat. I imagine if it did happen then it would feel worse somehow.

To be honest though, I know people who have got over one half cheating and lived a happt life after, and I also know someone who took him back but couldn't forgive in the end so they split up anyway.

I think it must be hard to turn off your feelings no matter what someone has done to hurt you, so I suppose I am going to do a cop out and say, whatever feels right for that person.

If that was take him back, I would hope that would be the only time though, as I think if you take them back a second time they just have a licence to carry on doing it as they know you will take them back

For us it would be anything behind the others back. I don't cam or do text or dirty phone calls with anyone else...

I couldn't cheat though...

We don't have any sexual contact without both of us involved.

for me you can't have a relationship without trust and if a man or woman cheated i doubt id ever trust them.

i mean abby clancey has banned peter crouch from having a stag do because she doesnt trust him... so whyyy is she going to marry him?? lol

Yeah I think if you don't trust them enough to let them go out of the house then you are in trouble.....but....I think theirs is still recentish, it must take time to build the trust back up.

I have always found this question fascinating. How quickly we all (including myself) become judge, jury and executioner on "cheaters". From if my wife/husband/bf/gf so on and so forth did to me I'd leave. The truth we do not know what we will do in a situation until that actual situation a rises. We all condemn cheaters by saying they should have not done it in the first placed, or they are only sorry if they get caught. It amazes me how any of us can say that, when more than likely we've all told a "white" lie at least once day but we don't condemn ourselves as liars. No I'm not saying cheating is okay...but we are human and sometime along the line of life we will mess up.

It really is something that you cannot have any true idea of how you'd react until after the event. You may say ' that's it - any cheating and the other party is out' but it's not usually that simple.

Purposely hiding anything (other than shoes/ undies etc!) is never good - on some level you know it's wrong, that's why you hide it. As to what I define as cheating, well,that depends not only on what has happened but the circumstances behind it - why has it happened. Again not a clear cut case

Everyone classes things differently. Personally its someone's own business and if you don't like them avoid them.

I was married for nearly 23 years, had lost my sight and there was no guarantee it would return when I packed up my kids and my possessions and left.

My husband never gave another woman a second glance, but he stopped looking at me in his "special" way and had become bitter.

If he had cheated HE would have been the one putting his belongings in the back of a Ford transit. He had lost respect for me so I left, so I can say what I'd have done: I left my husband for "less" than that AND with a disability.

That's why I'm unable to empathise with those that cheat and those that enable the cheaters!

My ex started an online affair with a woman he used to chat with before he met me,5 days after our twins were born.Yes, I know lots will say it was not an affair as there was never any physical contact but as I believe soapy commented earlier when there are feelings there that crosses the line in my book.For the next 3 months it continued and it came to a head when I found emails about her talking about coming to see him.What made me laugh was they were both up in arms about how dare I read their personal emails to each other...a married woman sending emails to my husband...some sexual but the worst ones were the ones talking about how perfect life would be and it was involving her and my children in the mix...sorry...not on.He left me stating he did not love me and could not trust me(for having read their smutty emails to each other)yeah...I was the one who could not be trusted....lol he left when the twins were 4 months old
