A 5 year old lad with terminal cancer has said he'd like to receive thousands of cards for his last Christmas.

I'm sending one. Will you?

No but I will. I bet he doesn't care how much they cost. Kind of puts things in perspective a bit.

I hope you're all sending the equivalent in cash to go towards paying for treatment he can't get in this country.

Sadly there are no treatment options left as far as i know was given only two months to live better to donate the equivalent or more to a children's cancer charity. As for the card sent one friday knew about his battle for a while now and it just breaks my heart

No i wont but i did donate £3.00 to our local dog and cat rescue, not much but its the thought that counts and if everyone gave just £3.00 then it would help look after a lot of dogs and cats.

Its for food and xmas toys, my son gave £10.00.

Still amazes me that people would rather donate to animal charities than to a cause like this!

This seems a good cause, but it's for individuals to decide what they support. There's no point "charity shaming" people. I don't donate to the individual appeals you see now for treatment for one child because I'd rather donate to something broader like research.

Also anyone in Sunderland get to the match as he is mascot on Wednesday night when we play chelsea. Even if you are not a football fan get there early and cheer him on as he is scoring a goal before the match.
