Everyone can obviously read on here so can see that i dont meet ...but there is no need for the abusive messages that i am getting.

Yes have reported and blocked them .or they have blocked me and i have counter blocked ...but come on now people there is no need for it ....read ...if you want to message then fine ..but just be polite ..there is no need to be abusive

Right rant over ..and back to paddington .....

I've never got abusive messages when I've decided to take a break from meeting. If I did I'd use all of my filters and choose who to chat with x

Has always been very clear you don't meet, so why people choose to be abusive is beyond me, it's that old entitlement thing rearing its ugly head again. Sadly there's not much more you can do than what you're doing and just try and ignore them.

Would ask them to post here why they think it's acceptable but my guess is either they'd be too spineless to do so, or non-forum users.

If it's any consolation we all get abuse on here at some point.

I sent a respectfully and witty message to a new lady once and got told 'we all know about you and what a liar you are' before being blocked. I had 2 or 3 of them in a week like that. Still no idea what that was about... long past caring to be honest.

Then you get the messages that begin by accusing you of being married and cheating because you can't accommodate. Great way to start a conversation...

Block and forget. There are some great folk on here, many I now know outside of Fab too.

I don't really get abusive messages from men, but I filter up when I'm not looking to meet and don't tend to reply to those I'm not interested in. I get more grief as a result of forum posts than for anything else.
