Just browsing through and I'm struggling to find anything new to comment on lately, have we come full circle with every topic? I know some topics constantly go in circles but I can't be the only thinking, the forums have become a little stale lately?

There has seemingly been a lot of repetition of late. I suppose thinking of threads that folk across the board might find interesting to discuss gets difficult. My sole attempt worked out ok a while back as it was a bit different.

yeah it gets that way where there's not that much interesting to post on.

perhaps get our collective thinking hats on and get pro active in trying to create some new ones...or at least less trodden subjects anyhow

Have been on here for 10 years, and yes I've seen the forums go full circle several times. People come, people go. If you mean by stale, then yes some topics are going to be repeated, but I still find some threads which have me in stitches sometimes, it's easy to avoid the dross

I think segregating the politics threads away from the lounge was a mistake and left a void which now seems to attract many lesser responded threads which I would normally expect to populate swinger-chat or the advice and introduction forums ..

To me the lounge does feel somewhat diluted .

Doesn't seem much different to me than 4 years ago. Maybe less threads where people who have met each other have in jokes and discussions about the last party, but it's much the same.

More political stuff has happened over the last couple of years, which was clogging up the lounge.

The thing is, you can start a thread, you can't make people want to post on it.

People start interesting threads and then they get taken over by flirting (which really is lampost pissing thinly disguised, except the male is usually too cockstruck to realise this) and other comments not relevant to the original thread derail it.

I think it was needed with Brexit but now needs to be integrated back into the lounge.

Otherwise there tends to be an uprising of sycophantic shite or trolling when repetitiveness / boredom creeps in.
