Haven't seen it yet. Strangely, in the U.S. he's considered as someone who speaks in rhetoric with not much to back it up. I guess they hear and see more of him than we do. I'm not judging the man, I don't know enough about him but I shall watch the news later and see what he has to say as an American President is always worth listening to.

Paying a nice tribute to the fallen and the maimed, very sincere.

I'd turn over and watch it but my 2y/o is watching Mickey Mouse and he'd have a leppy if I switched channels.

He is a good speaker, and a very good speech, but ask most Americans what do they think of him.

Though you cannot deny, what he said a man from such ordinary roots, his g/dad being a cook in the British army becoming the President wouldnt happen in many places would it?

I actually listened to all of it, and whilst I agree as a rule it was a good talk, excellent delivery.

He mentioned briefly the UK's immigration policy, and accepting people; to 'allow building of new lives'...'accepting them as citazens'..., well the borders of America send plenty of folk home, so maybe people in glass houses......

Other than that really, I thought it very good. A little annoying that our 'important people' figetted worse than a primary school in assembly :0

A lot shocked that I actually sat and paid attention

Changed my mind since the sacking of Cheryl..

It was a shite speech.
