"I want to see how this effects my health and energy levels who's with me" I eat once a day, occasionally twice, and have done for 9 years (LCHF). I'm eight stones lighter, hold an HbA1c of 4.6 my blood lipid profile is better than the national recommendations, my addiction with food is gone, my mood and minor ailments have gone or reduced and I'm fitter and healthier now than I was in my 30's. Have a gander at intermittent fasting.

"I eat twice a day, being anaemic, underweight and having a physical job my body doesn't cope too well. I wish I had time for breakfast but getting out of bed has been proving too difficult lately. " Is that because you're too tired because of your anaemia? If you address, through eating well, you'll have the energy to get up. Get tested and find out what's causing it.

" I'm too tired because of my job and having a 2 yr old keeping me up most nights. I can manage my anaemia with my diet, not by eating more but by eating the right things. Although I only have 2 meals they are fairly big meals and most of the time they keep me going without my anaemia affecting me too much.

Have more energy even on fast days and can still work out at the gym 800 cals burned in 60 min on cross trainer before eating. Lost 1 1/2 stone since Aug. It's also good for getting cells to repair so thought to reduce cancer and other illnesses like diabetes

"I wonder if it's healthier to eat small amounts every couple of hours or so.... Little and often is the correct way to eat apparently, 5 or 6 small meals through out the day will keep your energy levels constant " Less chance of your blood sugars troughing.
