We've been living an alternative lifestyle as long as we've been together. When we started we both said, Watersports? Ewww no not our thing. But I have to say we have dipped our toes in the water. Pun intended.

Where have you pushed your boundaries from and to?

What are you now enjoying that you said you would never do?

Do you think it's down to graded exposure? Or human nature and addictive personality to crave more extreme excitement?

My Own Little World

I have some hard boundaries that haven't moved. But the one that started as I don't fancy it but who knows in the future, some we have tried. Some we won't do again, others are on our ok list.

Yes. Alot of my boundaries of what I will do with casual partners have narrowed over the past five or six years or so.

My hard boundaries, no. The others aren't so much boundaries as things that haven't particularly interested me up to that point or I've not experienced, so yes, they have changed.

After five and a half years our boundaries have changed hugely .

When we started we would have only one play a night , now we don't limit ourselves and when we're on one up to six isn't uncommon .

What we do has changed too , the only hard limit being no anal with mrs .

We certainly wouldn't have entertained playing with TVs until a couple of years ago . Now we love it .

So yes , the more extreme has come the longer we have been in the lifestyle . Things like water sports , and more taboo have become realities - some we liked some not , but we tried it when we thought we never would .

When i was first swinging i had very few boundaries, i wanted to try everything apart from some more extreme things. I was single then.

Now as a couple we have many boundaries because we know exactly what we want and like best and as we have limited time we stick to them

Wow that's fascinating. And certainly what I would have guessed would be the natural progression. Graded exposure. But a bit of a contrast compared to some of the comments of people drawing their boundaries in as time goes on.

From my experience and education it's a culmination of the environment you submerge into and a natural psychological process that as one becomes the norm then the craving/desire that's experienced must be attained through more extreme acts

Yes true the morality and realisation of degradation does hold and restrain the total pursuit same as all situations. Only natural not everything is suited to everyones particular desires and negative experiences do put off

We then moved on to meeting couples, and then single guys, and now thinking about maybe possible meeting alone, so they have moved massively

Wow. I couldn't even begin to imagine an extreme shift like that. So many questions.

Do you think it was subconsciously something you always both always desired or have you both changed massively as people?

I'm intrigued as to what changes you've noticed in your relationship from when you started out to when you've now started thinking about meeting separately.

Now, years on (far to many for me to actually say), I have ventured in to so much more. tried things I thought I would never do and even now, try more hedonistic things. I am also bi curious now, though I am far from just curious

Again another massive change. Are you saying the scene has been instrumental in changing your sexuality or have you always been Bi curious and the lifestyle has given you the courage to be who you want to be?

Well, as said, when i started out, I had one thing in mind and that was to have sex with women. then couples, but I didn't give bisexuality a 2nd thought. just did not float my boat. After a few years, speaking to people, becoming friends with more people with different kinks, I became more open to trying different things (not just bisexuality, though I used that in my original point. there are many things such as BDSM, watersports roleplay and group sex).

I would say that due to the lifestyle, I have opened up to trying things that never crossed my mind before.

whether it was already in me or not, I have no idea. But I do know that the more I have tried, the more I have tried.

It's not easy to say how I've changed my boundaries. When I was teenager, it's easy to find the other half. I was so wrong.

I do change my views with time. I have never thought I would swing or play anally. I hope there are still stuff I can explore. And I know there are things I don't want to explore

Erm not really sure, i am always looking at pushing boundaries and where we can go next, i had fantasies about seeing l with other men, it was just waiting for l to catch up, she was worried i might get jealous, when we did eventually do it it was bloody awesome, so much so that single guys are now our favourite type of meet, i get massive enjoyment from watching both there faces enjoying each other

The meeting alone thing is all new to us and only something we have talked about so far, but think it will be hot
