If Saudi Arabia started to tell us about Christianity, would you listen?

Boris Johnson has taken it upon himself to tell Saudi Arabia about Islam, should they listen to him, would we listen to them?

Brighton - even Hove!

I'd listen but not take any notice. He's doing it for his benefit, no one else's.

Now No.10 are saying he wasn't speaking for the government. As Foreign Secretary I would have thought that he was or should be when giving speeches. This wasn't an overheard private conversation. It was a recorded speech.

I watched the actual clip of him saying what he said.

I completely agree with him.

Unless of course he said something else I didn't see.

Just seen it again and he doesn't appear to have said anything else. Complete agree with him, it's a shame May hasn't backed him.

Actually he was telling them about funding Islamist proxy groups across the Middle East (and the rest of the world for that matter).

Given that Saudi authorities have hanged people for witchcraft, want to hang them for homosexuality, and refused to allow foreign schoolgirls to leave a burning building because they were "incorrectly dressed" ie no headscarves (and yes, 15 of the shameless hussies burned to death in agony), I'd say that telling the TRUTH about Saudi subversion activities pales by comparison.

But hey, some people never miss a chance to bash Bozza I guess.

So we would have listened to them if they had spoken out in public about some of the terrible things that happened during the troubles in NI would we?

We supply the Saudis with weapons and military support.

What specifically did Boris say that you consider is wrong?

religion is like a penis. It's a perfectly fine thing for one to have and take pride in, but when one takes it out and waves it in my face we have a problem.

Oh boris. Oh dear. I read this too and thought well you knew it would happen when you gave him the job! I find him amusing in that you shouldn't laugh because he is being sincere. But he is like your really old grandfather who says all the wrong things. Just wait till Jan 20th folks then we shall all be hearing diplomatic worldwide fireworks

Yet our government seems to be geared up towards being reliant on them for decades instead of focusing on renewable energy sources that anyone sensible can see we need.

I think in a lot of respects climate change is the wrong cause to push as you will constantly fight against the sceptics and deniers. Intead we should be focusing on something that both sides agree on, the oil (and other fossil fuels) is finite and running out, so that's why we need to find alternatives. The earlier we start looking, the better.

But is it Islam ?

Islam is very difinitive there is only one true god and one true religion

Even though he may not have read the Koran

It is quite strong on that

There should not be more than one strand of Islam

So all the fighting between the Shia and Sunni is man made not on religious basis

So for a buffoon that he is

He may be right for once
