I work beside a woman and she has been dropping obvious lines that she is interested in alot more.

She asked me to paint her bathroom door for her which I agreed to , After agreeing though she asked if I would like to stay longer , or even stay the night if it was easier for me

(I only live 35 mins away lol).

Anyway I painted said door but left afterwards as there is no sexual attraction there for me , However I think it has made things rather weird between us.

So would any man on here have gone for the offer to stay over night and see what happened , Or if any women have been in same boat with men at work did they ever follow it through.

For me work and play should be kept well separate.

If you're not sexually attracted to her, then why would you sleep with her and risk making work horribly awkward??

sounds like you led her on, somewhere along the line..would make it perfectly clear i was just being a mate, if doing something for someone meant meeting them away from work.

why offer to let you stay then if your banter hadnt been 'flirty' beforehand..i dont know your sense of humour..was it flirty banter when you didnt fancy her? do you flirty banter with anyone? just asking...

We have laugh and joke and kinda can talk about anything openly which includes her sex life without me asking. I keep dropping hints how I am enjoying single life and could'nt get deeply involved with anyone again.

Only flirty thing if can be said is I offered to pay her xmas night out as she had no money , That was meant to be as friends though.

Could she have seen that as interest surely not.

You were asking if anyone would stay over, and see if anything happened. I'm saying why would you do that if you're not attracted to her?
