I'm far from popular or 'hot' but get around 50 messages a day. That's a lot of admin. Only the strongest profiles and messages survive to the next round

It's a brutal elimination process

FAQ's or 'Frequently Asked Questions' are so called for a reason and are designed to pre-empt the most common questions that are likely to be asked.

It has been made very clear that a non-response should be taken as a 'No Thank You' and is NOT considered rude on fab.

Call us rude, ignorant, or whatever you want, will continue to not read and delete without reply, those messages we feel are worthy of the treatment.

No. If I'm not interested replying to someone who would know I'm not interested if they'd bothered to read my profile wastes my time. If I reply to an introductory message then it invites further messages and wastes both party's time. So I have message filters on. Even when I don't have them on I have my looking for boxes unselected so people get a warning I am not looking to meet whatever gender type they happen to be. If they still message despite that I owe them nothing. Politeness goes both ways.

I'd just use the forum search feature for answers to this one. Reason is, it gets asked so often, people get upset about it, maybe unfairly on the person asking..

Go on search and you'll see lots of answers

From the sites FAQ section:

"There are too many rude people on here who don't reply to my messages!"

It's not rude not to reply.

Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?

.

.

.

So what can we deduce from this ?
