I'm working, DJing a pub out in the sticks not to far from me.

I've spent the last seven new years with amazing friends but since marriages have failed within the group we're somewhat fractured and it's longer a viable option. I very well may end up booking a hotel somewhere, going solo on a night out and seeing what shenanigans I can get up to!

We are either going to see the new year in at City Celts in Leicester or at home. I struggle to stay awake so home would be my choice then i can be fast asleep until all the fireworks wake me up. Hubby fancies going City Celts.

We have music, food and dancing until midnight when the children go onto the balcony and bang on saucepans, to ring in the new year. Not forgetting the London fireworks, we can see from the balcony.
