"Pubic hair grooming 'STI risk linked to skin tears'"

Oh.

Article on BBC website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-38207594)

"Doctors say small tears in the skin from shaving or trimming could make it easier for infections to take hold"

"The more frequent and extreme the grooming, the greater the risk [of STIs]" (this was because more extreme groomers were more sexually active).

However: "But there was good news for groomers too - because their habit was found to protect against pubic lice."

Every cloud....

If you already have pubic lice, shaving can make them burrow into the hair follicle.

A good spraying of Agent Orange will do the trick

Central

We've often talked about how shaving can be less hygienic here - not just sexual infections that can set in. I'm ok with hair on people and prefer adults to look like them.

Men shaving facial hair is pretty common to before a meet but a bit dodgy to for transfering hepatitus same as kissing.

Im sure on the swinger scene has to be some people with bad oral hygene.

I had a meet once they had gum desease you could easy smell it

Not always. I've been reading about a woman who has had an infestation over her whole body. They have burrowed in and no treatment is working.

Just read it on the BBC website it more or less says that if you shave you have little cuts on the skin around the area that you can't see therefore the risk . Does that mean I need to grow a beard lol

It has long been known that shaving increases the likelihood of infections. The hair is not without purpose, it protects against infection and parasites. Of course skin nicks from grooming only increase risk further.

While I prefer the natural look, there is no doubt that most people who shave do not suffer infections.
