And just for the record! I'd enjoy watching Kim kardashian eat a banana, I think she's an attractive girl, and so are her sisters, oh and her mother.

Apparently in the 1920's at a fairly famous girl's public school, a girl's punishment would be to have to stand on the end of a table at lunchtime and eat a banana in front of the whole school watching in silence!

There were two books written by the late comic author Arthur Marshall in which he delved into the strange historic worlds of boys private schools and girls private schools and their curious traditions and funny anecdotes. They were written not as things he'd made up but anecdotes he'd collected from people who had been pupils in those situations. I think the book on girls private schools was entitled "Giggling in the shrubbery". My mum had a copy and often read out the choice bits to us! The one about the girls being punished by being forced to eat a banana while standing on a dining room table in silence in front of the whole school was apparently, if my memory is correct, at one time regular practice at Roedean School near Brighton! By all means check my source if you don't believe me!
