Whoever thought up the design for the Lego Dimensions boxes needs to be tortured in front of their family and left to die a slow and painful death.

Gift bags are your friend. For pretty much everything that's not a book or CD. (I don't have much patience with wrapping...)

But the whole point of wrapping presents is sealing it with sellotape and watching their faces as they can't get into it! You can't do that with a gift bag

I once gave a friend money for Christmas, but I wrapped it in 10 different boxes, all of which were wrapped individually and inside of eachother. I only did it because she complained to me about how disappointing cards are when you know there's just going to be money inside

A friend of mine once gave someone £100 as a xmas gift and apparently got 100 £1 coins and wrapped them individually

You'll have to wrap the box part first, put the bottom edge of the box along the edge of the wrapping paper roll and bring it up to the top like it's in a sleeping bag, secure with tape at the top where the box meets the flappy stupid part, wrap the two straight side of the box as normal. Cut (diaganolly) down the sides of the paper where the funny edges of the box are and secure with take then measure the flappy top part with more paper off the roll and cut it off the roll, then just wrap it the same.

I worked weekends in amazon on gift wrap last Xmas, I hate the cunting things, but I can wrap them like a demon!

Rule of wrapping- put awkward shapes into standard square box and then... spend 5 mins looking for scissors you just had, 10 mins trying to find the end of the cellotape, and move the cat for the 7th time and wrap the box...

I can wrap your standard square or rectangle parcel using just 3 pieces of tape, the paper is tight to each edge, the symmetry, everything is perfect.

I've even got a kind of knuckle duster type device I wear that dispenses scotch tape and a rolling scissors. I don't fuck about.
