One of mine is Point Break, the original version. Watched the new one earlier and wasn't a patch on when Patrick Swayze played Bodhi.

I never liked event horizon - which is strange as I liked most sci-fi films

One of the joys of kids getting older is that you can introduce them to films you've always loved. With that in mind, both are hooked on Star Wars, while my daughter loves The Warriors now. Neither of them got particularly in to Full Metal Jacket or Mr Jolly Lives Next Door

New films it's gotta be deadpool. The humour is fantastic in it.

Old school too many to choose an outright fave but Zulu, The Warriors and The great escape come to mind first.
