"A tablet is easier to swallow than a laptop?"

On a serious note, I would recommend a laptop (or as I believe they are known these days, a Notebook)

Much more versatile. All depends on what you intend to use it for really.

There and to the left a bit

For quick and easy web/app based browsing and portability I'd say a tablet....that said these days laptops aren't much lighter and with Windows 10 are more app based anyway. Other option would be to get a touchscreen laptop that can effectively be used as a tablet when you want to.

Tablets are more portable. I take mine on holiday and use my laptop at home. If I had to choose one, it would be a tablet

We each have laptops and we have tablets....we never use the tablets. Never. We often wonder why we bothered buying them

Anyway, it depends what you're using it for. If you're happy with a tablet then the pros are that they are more portable and cheaper. But doing anything that requires processing power can be a pain in the ass.

You are right. I don't like to take my laptop on holiday, so take the tablet to keep up with emails

What happens when you type fabswingers.com into the address bar? You may need to use another browser.

Worthing

Ipad 2 from the ioutlet is recommended. No need to spend hundreds on the latest apple kit.

Laptop - copy the hard drive and make it an ssd add extra ram if needed. It'll last a whole lot longer and make it a whole lot faster than any tablet.

Central

I prefer a keyboard to type on. And I also like full versions of software to work with, rather than just online or stripped down versions, for limited operating systems.

If I wanted a tablet, I'd buy a hybrid laptop/tablet, so that I could detach the non-tablet part as required. Love windows 10 too.
