Has Fab lived up to the expectations you had when you first joined?

How does the reality differ from those initial expectations?

i didn't have any really, was just gonna chat to a guy i had been talking to on another site and meet him.

not met him yet lol, met loads of others though.

i didn't expect so many hot guys want to fuck me but i've always been like that since guys took an interest in me from being young.

It has met my expectations. I was previously on an adult dating site so I expected this place to be a sausage fest, which it is. I expected it to take time to get a meet, which it did. But I also expected some fun, which I've definitely had

Reality always differ from expectations, especially when you are selling yourself through a screen.

I first joined for lust then realised that my lust has to be in symbiose with my principles in order to reach the level of intimacy I am seeking in someone.

Fab has done everything i expected.

What I have learnt is there are a lot of gutless keyboard wankers who abuse their anonymity to waste peoples time. But they are not Fab's fault. Nevermind, I must be a masochist as am on Facebook too, ....

We never knew what to expect when we first joined.I suppose at the time we were somewhat overwhelmed,but now we are used to it and have a better understanding of dealing with everything fab has to offer,good and bad.

With everything in life I've actually learnt to keep expectations to a minimum and that way you minimise the chance of disappointments.

People have criticised me for this negative approach but I'm just realistic. There's no point in setting the bar and standards too high. Continuous rejections can be soul destroying

I don't think I had many expectations. But I've met some great people who I'd never have met otherwise including one real friend, had some great sex and laughed a lot. So all in all it's been good

I didn't have any prior to joining as I wasn't aware of fab and had not been on other sites. When I first joined I didn't expect to find the wonderf friends I have. I thought I would have a few good fucks and that was it. Nor did I expect to find so many interesting _iewpoints and enjoy the forums as much as I do. And I didn't think I was desirable (fuckable yes but there's a world of difference) in the slightest but I've realised I'm not too bad.

That's not the approach I choose to have with life, I don't fear disappointment. I'm an optimist and have a positive expectation of most things, including Fab.

When I look back on my time here I must say that I didn't expect the friendships and I didn't expect some of the experiences, I also didn't expect the forums! (although I rarely post these day).

On balance the reality has surpassed my expectations.

i think i am one of the last people from the old school days that took time to get my feet wet and really reccy the place first before jumping in so i knew what to expect... as opposed to what it feels like now which is everyone jumps in and then moans because their expectation doesn't match the reality...

so for me there were no expectations so no disappointments...

No expectations at all though the reality is, it's a lot easier to contact people than other sites. Fab is far more ergonomic than most and rather than having one off meets as I was on other sites, having verifications gives people confidence you're genuine and lets people honestly enjoy swinging openly.

We'd used other sites before fab existed, so on our old profile we found fab some what of a pleasant surprise compared to other sites.

On our return our experience has pretty much matched our expectations, other than the increase in singles on fab and on the scene in general.

Get the same comments regarding it be negative, but totally agree with the realistic outlook you describe.

Came were after/during a divorce with expectations whic haven't quite been met, that's as much down to me as anything .

I didn't really have any expectations since I have never been on a standard dating site or anything similar to this before. The reality of it was a bit weird at first but I was sensible and set filters the minute I joined, otherwise I think the madness may have overwhelmed me.
