As the question above... What do others think?

In some cases I think so. Especially what men expect women to do.

Don't get me wrong, I love open minded, horny and kinky fun... But still think they do.

These days guys see porn as a benchmark.

Having spoken to a few porn stars I can tell you it's not what it seems. Some times a 20 minute film can take over 4 hours to shoot.

Most of it is staged, fake or edited to death.

I guess it comes down to the individuals perceptions. Yes I watch porn, and it has inspired some fantasies.

But I like to think that I can clearly differentiate between seeing a performance that is enhanced reality, and enjoying the real thing.

Completely unrealistic.... Though amateur porn hits the nail a little more. Doubtful that some porn stars who have partners, go home and act the same as they do on set. It's acting at the end of the day... Mostly bad acting, but some watching it, do get a skewed impression of what real sex is.

No brainer. Yes it does.

However it must be remembered that porn doesn't come from another planet. It is of human origin. Most of it may not happen in the average bedroom but that doesn't mean that the average person doesn't desire done aspects of it.

Furthermore, much if not all, of the acts disseminated via porn existed and were performed millenniums before porn as we've come to know it in contemporary times came to be.

Got to agree with all of above. I think especially men to women, but also some women do too... Ie, must be tall dark, over 6ft and over 9" lol

Modern day porn has certainly raised the bar... Yes its man made as someone has already pointed out... But I still believe it can cause people to forget about the difference between fantasy and reality. Maybe fantasy is a reality?

Yes and it puts unnecessary pressure on women especially younger one's to live upto the expectations of their boyfriends who thus far their only sexual experience has been watching porn, probably endlessly since a early age.

How many girls are doing anal now because it's seen as expected, most of their peer group are doing it and guys expect it.

Also puts pressure on appearance, that women are only seen as sexy if they dress and act like porn stars.

there's loads of types of porn out there though, i do think people will go watch the type of porn that they hope to enjoy themselves but i'd think they're realistic and know that these women either get paid for doing what they do.

dunno where the attitude that women who enjoy sex will fuck anything comes from though. don't really see any porn about that but do see stupid adverts on their sites promoting women like this.

The answer is yes. The fact that most scenes depict spontaneous hook ups with random partners and rarely a condom in sight should tell you that it isn't grounded in reality. That and the fact that there's never any lube in sight, even for anal...

i accidently clicked an advert once then panicked and put tape over my cam, just in case lol. it seemed to be a chatbot talking to me coz they thought i was a bloke but i wasn't taking any chances.

so they're adverts for pay sites? didn't know that. did think they were lying though so nice to see that confirmed. knew there was no way a site out there with women gagging for sex with anything.

As a teenager growing up in the 80's we got to see page 3 stuff, then maybe a soft-core mag found ,as obligatory in the woods.

Even though the women were models, there weren't any sex acts portrayed at that time.

As time went on and the world of work began, there would be some colleague or another with a 3rd generation VHS copy of a porn scene.

Now, I wonder what teenagers make of what is portrayed in porn.

Are threesomes, coming in women's faces etc etc etc just 'normal' sex? How does a youngster differentiate between fantasy scenes and what is done in everyday sex?

As swingers, we might experience something a little closer to what happens in porn, but I do worry about the expectations of young people as to what they should expect to do.

Yes and no. The rise of hair removal has been shown multiple times to be linked to porn. There's also the increased demand in anal bleaching, vaginal alteration services. And then there's the unrealistic body expectations that has happened with it including a set idea of perfection, anal to be a guaranteed event, squirting...

On the other hand, I think many are able to understand that it's an unrealistic scenario decided to appeal to you on a carnal sense and not what fucking is always like. At least, I tell myself that. But sometimes on here I don't know.

interesting as I don't watch porn as I find it to be rather dull and over to quick nothing like the sex I engage in which lasts for as long as my play partner has the will and the stamina to carry on .
