" Years ago we did a non scientific study by numbers on here against area population and worked out swingers are less than 1% of the population... my census figures are total population, but that is not relevant to the numbers, if there are significantly more than 1400 non black lone women on fab in your search area then you are right, the minority is not proportionately represented, but I suspect ethnicity has little to do with sexual preference, people are just people. Though culture may influence choices. | |||

There is at least two or three casually racist posts on this thread. "I won't say I have never noticed a racial comment being passed on the forums because that would be a lie. Generally though it doesn't happen and when it does it's usually some political thread of sorts. | |||

Oh well that's not good. I'm sure the mods don't tolerate racism on the forums. I can honestly say I haven't noticed any recently apart from one young man and he was ripped by forum contributors. "I agree ?? I think some people have a massive chip on their shoulder about ethnic and women's rights here when the vast majority of people (obviously excluding a very small number of bigots) have no negative feelings about either. "I went to Liverpool with my daughter once, just for a few hours. After a while of walking around I turned to her and said "Where are all the black people?" Are there not many non-white people in Liverpool, or was it just a quiet day? There are plenty. Indigenous and student population. It was a working day; the whole place seemed empty for a city. Well I'm not there that often but I grew up there and there are plenty of "minorities" from all over the world. Really? last time I was there only rooms available were £400 plus. City was full. It was a weekend though. We went to pick up a passport. Maybe we were just in a quiet part. I live in Greater London and it's never that quiet. Probably, plus if the passport office is still where I remember it is a quiet part of the city centre. " Passport Office is in the business district on the strand so it will be quiet down there during the day - but Liverpool is a massive melting pot of almost every nationality, creed & colour you can think of. One of the white extremist groups turned up here to hold a white supremacy March & there was a massive crowd outside Lime St station who wouldn't let them out & pelted them with rotten fruit & eggs - the neo nazi's ended up hiding in lost property until the police could get them back on a train down south again!! Liverpool has a real mixed heritage going back generations due to its seafaring history & being a stopping point for the trading ships en route from Africa to America with both slaves & with other commodities & Scousers are very proud of the multi cultural diversity you find here. I think I am a lot lot more careful about who i meet now than i was at the beginning because I am a lot aware both of the surroundings and within my self.....in that I don't want to be a part of someone elses perceived fetish.... if i get that feeling i'll walk! but i am way different to others who won't walk because its a legover..... | |||

"Location plays a huge part. Particular ethnicities searched in London for example would most probably come up higher. Someone mentioned it earlier, whereby if you travel to another city you may not find/or see a particular ethnicity as much. I remember when I came up for one of the socials up North somewhere. On my journey I had people looking at me as though they've never seen my 'kind' before. Makes you feel a bit uncomfortable but I guess not all cities are as big and densely mixed as London. Not sure if that answers the question. There's a few other things as well I'd say but that may be a bit more subjective from my part. "My experience is totally different. I find people "up north" and by that I mean Northern England and Scotland, really don't give a fuck what "ethnicity" you are as long as you are a decent person and treat others with respect.
