How do you help them with grief when you can't figure it out yourself. Just had to break the news to my daughter her nanna has past away a few hours ago. 2nd death in the family in less then 4 months and both for the same reason. Both went into hospital with something relatively trivial and both court some hospital super bug. If there's is God its a sick game he's playing.......

So sorry to hear this and for your loss, there are some organisations out there which can help such as Cruse and child bereavement.

Hope you both manage to be there for each other, big hugs

There are grief councillors available, you go through your local GP to arrange the sessions.

awe that's a terrible thing to happen..

hugs for you and your daughter Bladey xx

I had to do the same for my son a few years ago now, when his granddad died in hospital and it was the hardest thing I'd ever undertaken

I'm just going through the same as my kids grandpa has passed away. We were just honest and truthful with them throughout his illness and his death. Luckily they remember the happy good times and not the pain and suffering he endured. We are going to let them release balloons in the shape of stars so they can always think he is up there looking out for them. Kids are resilient and will come through it, often better than us to be honest. My condolences go to you and your family.

So sorry for your loss. I had to help my son and partner deal with the loss of their little girl 2 years ago. Very very hard but love and talking helps a great deal

Thank you to everyone for your kind words here and by pm. I find myself without words. Think _litterbabe put in her thread earlier. in our own little way even though this is a swingers or sex site call it what you will we are our own strange little community.
