I've come down with the lurgy overnight from pretty much nowhere!

I must say its a real libido killer and all I want to do is curl up with a hot water bottle on my own - if I had a play date lined up (I don't btw ) then to be fair to them and prevent germs I'd be cancelling.

Who else is suffering right now?

Does feeling poorly hamper your proposed play dates or do you crack on gamely anyway?

Should being ill stop the fun?

I'm interested to know your views on this ..

Sorry to hear that! I can empathise. Me too, a barking cough, a chest that really hurts with every cough, phlegm galore, and a snot machine!

suppose it depends on how energetic your meets are....and how much your date prefers asthmatic rasping to plain old heavy breathing

I'm suffering. Had an operation yesterday and now have an open wound on my back that needs packing and dressing every day for weeks or months. It's like a big bullet hole. Attractive

I'm sooooo done with being ill!

I got pneumonia at the end of September and ended up being in hospital on oxygen twice. Since then I've been constantly ill. Cold after cold with a couple of bouts of laryngitis thrown in too. I'm certain that the longest I've been illness free since September is a week I'm full of lurgy yet again and feeling very sorry for myself
