Isn't it rather an indication of poor technique by the man?

(or foolishly listening to them at work and trying that Alla-Seltzer trick... )

Mr ddc"

Is it bad technique? I have often wondered this; in that it usually occurs when you fully withdraw the penis during intercourse and then penetrate again; each time you pull out you leave it a moment before sliding back in; I will say it usually receives the correct vocalisation to say I am doing something right; but the unfortunate sounds escaping air releases can also be slightly perturbing

Only "bad" in the sense that if it causes embarrassment to the woman, and is caused by the man's technique, then I would say it's more his 'fault' than anyone's. If that makes sense.

This

I'm sick of reading threads (including some where people have been brave enough to seek advice about an issue they find embarrassing) where things that sometimes happen naturally and spontaneously during sex, and occur without any deliberate intent to cause offence, are subsequently referred to as disgusting/revolting/nasty/vile etc by *some* respondents.

It's okay to have preferences but *not* okay to potentially make others feel bad about the way their body reacts.

No, being asked "What do you think of X?" and then giving an answer that most would agree with if they were honest, isn't trolling, it's specifically answering the question the OP asks. If the answer is the opposite of what you have, it's best to avoid the thread that asks the question, or is it expected for everyone just to lie or say "no preference" in case somebody is offended?

You just don't get it do you ...

It's NOT about getting offended because someone else has different preferences, *adults* understand that we're all different.

The offence is caused when you express that preference in an unnecessarily unpleasant way which could make some women feel bad about the natural way their body reacts and something they have no control over.

Far better to be thought of as boring rather than spiteful in any case ...

No, I couldn't care less.

I just would've thought that if you are a regular fanny farter, it's probably best not to go in to a thread that asks people what they think of it. If you have a big labia and pussy lips, don't go in to a thread that asks people whether they prefer that, or tight little neat ones. If you are a BBW, don't go in to one that asks people whether they prefer Bbw's or slim women? Make sense?

It's almost like some are just looking to be offended.

It's amazing some sensitive souls ever have sex, given the number of potentially embarrassing and inelegant things that can happen during the course of it!

I reckon to have good sex requires a sense of humour about it.

A previous bf accidentally farted in my face during a bj once. He was mortified but I laughed and carried on. Reading comments on here sometimes makes me wonder if some people would have had heart attacks on the spot or sued for damages.

Sex is messy, sweaty, often inelegant. You have to laugh at the funny bits or you're always going to feel uptight about the experience.

"If you have a big labia and pussy lips, don't go in to a thread that asks people whether they prefer that, or tight little neat ones."

Why when there's nothing wrong with fleshy labia and some prefer them? The way you've posted seems to automatically assume small is the common preference and, further, that it's ok to be rude and derogatory to those who don't match your preference.

It isn't. It's not ok to be rude about slim women when expressing a preference for fat women and it's not ok to be rude about fat women when expressing a preference for slim women. Likewise that goes for all other preferences.

Besides, I firmly believe that many, if not all, of your claimed preferences are actually just what you think will cause most hurt and upset, and the way you choose to express them is designed to compound that.

Calling things "disgusting", particularly when you would have been instrumental in causing any you've experienced, is inflammatory, rude and unnecessary.

Do you not understand the difference between vaginal and anal farts? Anal farts are a by product of digestion. It's the body's fault. Vaginal farts have nothing to do with the body. The air that is pumped in has to come out. It's the pumper's fault (cock/strap-on). Why the hell is that disgusting?

We are not dicussing physical characteristics here.

And there's a difference between preference and being downright rude.

Slim women no more like being called 'bags of bones' and similar that fat women like being insulted so it's not about hurt feelings and fragile egos of people you think deserve to be insulted.

Not sure why you feel the need to be snipey - I haven't claimed to be the queen of anything thank you. It just makes me mad to see people being unnecessarily unpleasant without stopping to consider how it might affect others.

Me - I have a pretty thick skin, but I know others are more sensitive and might get upset at 'nasty' remarks.

As for 'expressing preferences', do I *really* need to explain to adults how this can be done tactfully ? Surely most people can work that out for themselves (and thankfully, most of them do), unless they're deliberately intending to shit stir ?

It matters not a jot to me *who* writes unpleasant stuff, I don't have any personal feuds going on ... but I do however feel very strongly about any form of body shaming, and will try to counter that when I see it.

Not really, setting aside BBWs (since I happen to agree that a small, vocal minority tend to always drive those one way) surely if a thread asks for preferences: people who fit, or not, can pipe up with their own views. I'll regularly poke my head in on a "are all short guys insecure?" thread, or a "Are all bald people sad tossers?" one, just to see other people's views, stereotypes and preferences. I can see that if one has issues, and are the type who concentrates on negative comments, such threads can be disheartening, but personally I tend to read the other comments and end up feeling empowered that I am not alone nor 'weird'.

Can't you all be adults and accept that someone dosent like something and uses their own choice of words, I'd call it nasty too, that's my preference and I have a right to it, I'm also allowed to use whatever words I want and if you want to be petty enough to take offence and a word on a public thread then I'd say you're the one with the problem so how about you all stop acting like school children and picking on someone for voicing an opinion on a thread where opinions were asked for

Okay then. Since you are the Queen of empathy, enlighten us on how to express preference without someone out there feeling 'offended'

lt's really not a case of what is being said causing offense, rather who is saying it.

Ooh let's see...not using the word "disgusting" of a natural event you would have helped cause.

Can't you all be adults and accept that someone dosent like something and uses their own choice of words, I'd call it nasty too, that's my preference and I have a right to it, I'm also allowed to use whatever words I want and if you want to be petty enough to take offence and a word on a public thread then I'd say you're the one with the problem so how about you all stop acting like school children and picking on someone for voicing an opinion on a thread where opinions were asked for "

Rationale?

I understand why anal farts can be considered nasty due to a potential horrendous smell. Also many can be suppressed. Vaginal farts don't smell and cannot be suppressed.

You're right they can't but it doesn't mean I have to like them or find them amusing, I hate when I have them but that's my preference just like it's yours wether you like them or not, each to their own

I'd rather not have them. The first time it happened I was mortified. Nowadays I may giggle or just shrug. I have never considered them nasty.

Thanks for your response.

They happen. Air gets pushed in and has to go somewhere.

Big fucking deal.

Most of us have a little filter in our brain that stops us from saying the vilest things that crop up in our minds. These filters may be referred to as ‘manners’, ‘tact’ or ‘a desire not to offend for the sake of it`.

Topic summary: Fanny Farts, irritatingly unavoidable, embarrassing and occasionally awkwardly amusing.

Off topic summary: some people need to suck on a lollipop, put some happy tunes on and, to quote a popular kids' movie 'Let It Go'. I will even lend you my disco ball to make the happy tunes even happier.

Give it time.

I'm still interested in Nero's rationale considering he would be the cause during his experiences of the woman queefing

"

From what l can see there is at least four users attacking one person. l'll say it for him : they are all picking on him.

Nah, it's just a continuation of several other threads. Sometimes establishing a pecking order takes more time than others...

A lot do seem to jump on him when he posts anything they wonder why he defends himself and take it as him being snappy, what do they expect? If they don't like what someone's put then ignore that comment and move on like grown ups instead of children "

Often I'll tackle a comment I disagree with, it's how discussions progress and how we can all learn stuff. But I can see the difference between "playing the ball" and "playing the man".

I also agree with him on odd occasions (for example the "parsnip dick" thread). I just wish he could express his views better.

Pretty amusing how a couple of the offended in this thread were part of a group that ganged up on an assuming, middle aged newbie and took turns mocking his penis a couple of nights ago as well.

Because causing offense is only prohibited if it offends a female "regular poster"... By all means harass a man in to wishing he never put a dick pic up, but don't dream of of ever opting for the conventionally more desirable female trait, when specifically asked for it by the OP of a thread

Limbo

Does anyone have a brick wall 'cos I need to bang my head on it, hard ....

Queefs are no more 'nasty' than sneezing .... both are involuntary, though I suppose you can sometimes just about supress a sneeze and of course deliberately sneezing in someone's face *would* be revolting.

Despite everything I've written on this thread, I don't actually *like* it when this has happened to me on occasion. In fact I feel horribly embarrassed and it can interrupt the mood - that's because I'm always concerned my partner might think I've farted. But .... you know, thankfully, I play with nice, intelligent people who understand what it is ...

So, I still wouldn't ever describe it as nasty, 'embarrassing' yes, 'wish I could avoid it' yes ..... but how *can* it be 'nasty' when it's natural expulsion of odourless air that quite frankly tends to occur (for me, can't speak for other women) when you've had a long hard pounding from a big cock doggy style ?!

I can't emphasise enough that I, and all the other myriad women who've ever experienced it can do absolutely nothing about it - other than try to avoid it by resigning ourselves to extremely gentle slow missionary sex for ever more.

But some of the unpleasantness on this thread does make me extra nervous at the thought of playing with someone new just in case they also turned out to hold such childish views regarding what constitutes nasty
