Every week a lady makes me a coffee, its the worst... What would you do ...drink it out of politeness, pour it away... Or say I'll make my own thanks .

home sweet home

I'm really fussy about my coffee. So I'm the one who makes the drinks for everyone. Problem solved

"How is it so bad? What's wrong about it?"

It's.. weak with burnt and bitter tastes,

I visit this place every week same time (ish) as she sees my van she starts the kettle .. and the brew is on the bar as I walk through the door,

Northampton Somewhere

Must be instant. I would have to drink a bit of it out of politeness then chat until it's too cold to drink. She'll obviously offer to make you another one that's when you make your excuses!

Hmm, doesn't sound good. Could you tell her you've given up caffeine for health reasons?

Tell her how you like it , when my work colleague used to make mine it wasn't how I like it , I told her she still can't make it properly , but I think it's just a ploy so I make her tea

This seems the kindest way to tell her no thanks.
