little house on the praire

While i was sitting in costa there has been a major accident here. Right in the middle of the high street. I live in a small town. The whole high street has been closed of to pedestrians as well as cars. Air amblance has been and sadly one person at least has been killed. I know major accidents happen all the time but it made me feel so sick and im still shaking. Having rang some of the closest people to me who could of been on the high street at the time i still dont know if someone i know has been involved.

I too had a bit of a shock. I am a teacher and one of my students had not attended 2 sessions so I asked my Administrator to call only to be told he had died last week

I hate news like that.

Its a real shock to the system when you witness something like this,brings home to you just how quickly and tragically life can end

sending you hugs karen ,hope it isnt anyone you know ... we had a similar thing at a local shopping centre a few weeks ago .an elderly lady hit the accelerator as she was leaving her parking space and she careered into the local co-op....she missed my friend by about 5 seconds ....she was shaking for a week

Well i havent been able to find anything else out apart from its possibly a woman and a child and that a car went out of control. Thing is we live in such a small town everyone knows each other the high street is the main part of the centre and its market day. My mum will know as soon as she gets to work tomorrow. Whether i know them or not it is something that will shake the town up for a good while
