I hung up on a few abusive customers in an old job a few times.

I would warn them once their language and attitude was unacceptable then they would get put through to tone.......dddduuuuuuuuurrrrrrr!!!!!

I got bollocked by my spineless manager for it once, so I told him I'd put them through to him to deal with in future.

He decided my method was better very quickly

we would never ask our staff to take any abuse from any customer

no matter how good a customer they are

we wouldnt want customers like that

I have zero tolerance to people that are rude to me at work

I deal with people face to face and have no problems telling them that unless they speak to me woth the same courtesy and respect that im speaking to them with then they will be getting nowhere with me,im there to help them not be abused

It works 9 times out of 10 and if it does'nt the presence of a massive security guard is enough to quieten them down and let them reflect on their actions
