Question for you. If you saw someone you'd not met on here in the street, would you approach them and say "Hi, I'm on Fab too"?

Given people tend to be wary of strangers asking about their sex lives, I'd probably approach and ask 'don't I know you from somewhere?' and take my time, let them get comfortable talking to me.

Would never let on to anyone in public who I knew was on here, privacy is paramount. Why would you embarrass them like that?

No. But I did have a message 3 weeks ago, off one half of a couple who said they saw me go into my local hospital, and that they considered approaching, but didn't want to freak me out haha. They just pm'd me later, to tell me.... I was grateful they didn't approach me in public!

Lol that's a slam dunking "nope"... Guess best way to look at it is if you're not out of the closet and frequented gay clubs in another city some distance from yours.... Would you appreciate someone randomly coming to you in your town and saying " I recognise you from that fast club last night ".... So knows who could be within ear shot lol

No we wouldn't. For one thing I don't think you can ever be 100% sure it's the same person and for another you have no idea if their children/partner/parents/vicar are just round the corner.

But paramount is the need to respect people's privacy.

Well it's a lazy Sunday so I'm in the mood for one word answers.

Plus I've answered this sort of question before with more detail at least 3 or 4 times before.

And I've lost patience with taking time with posts and being ignored, so I canna be bovvered

The same has happened to us in more than one occasion.

One asked if that was us in Asda & another if that was us in the local kids library.

Definitely don't want to be approached in public.

Have given 'the nod' to a couple of people we have met with, when seen in normal surroundings.

"Question for you. If you saw someone you'd not met on here in the street, would you approach them and say "Hi, I'm on Fab too"?"

That would depend on whether they were alone, what time it was, and similar circumstances.

It has nothing to do with privacy and totally to do with tactfully approacing another person with causing distress

It has happened to me 3 times........

First a girl in McDonalds, with her hubby and 3 kids, standing right behind me in the queue.

Second at a car boot sale she was standing behind a stall with her hubby,

And third in a restaurant a girl eating dinner with all of her family.

All 3 had been in my bed just days before.

All 3 occasions I just blanked them and walked away as quickly as possible to avoid embarrassment.

Discretion is the key!

I wouldn't approach another, but I think I'd be rather flattered if someone actually recognised and remembered me lol.

If it's someone I'd spoken to then I don't think I'd mind, providing I wasn't out with my son or anything.

In fact I may very well piss my pants if someone approached me and literally said "fancy a fuck" then wandered off.

Just have to be careful.

Several times I've had messages saying I was seen in a particular place or asking if I worked in a particular place. Each time they were wrong. They could've approached an innocent person.
