My thoughts are this simple....

It must be dreadfully hard to let go of life when you are not ready....

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

"Recent reports on the news with regards to the teenager who has been cryogenically frozen ....what's your thoughts??

"

If it gave the individual concerned hope in her final days, go for it.

In all other respects, it's the greatest blag ever.

"I'm sorry, your obscure past relative turned to mush when we defrosted her"

"I'll sue"

"I'm sorry, it's been 150 years. The statute of limitations is a bit less than that. Would you like to buy a bucket, or will this polythene bag suffice?"

London and France

It's ridiculous;

Gives a false hope to the parents ( I gather one was against it anyway)

They won't now actually come to terms with the death.

It's also snake oil and a con trick; the body ( given current technology) can't be revived.

I read earlier that her final hours her mum wasn't there and it was a bit clinical, because they were preparing for the inevitable, that is so sad.

I don't agree with it, 'if' she was to get woken up and cured in 150 years she is going to be on paper 164 years old, in a 14 year old body, with no mum or dad to comfort her, I find that the most distressing. I do wonder how much was her idea and how much was her mothers and how much research was actually carried out?

Everyone is different though, if it bought comfort to them in her final days then fab but I would rather have spent those final days with my child
