Oops. I just messed up!

I've just dealt with a quarter of my unread messages and cleared a lot of old messages out of my mailbox, which I'm quite pleased about.

However it can be a bit of a brain-numbing process, check profile, check message, send no thank you (mostly) and then make a note what we chatted about and what I said (I hate when someone messages me and my profile says I messaged them x weeks ago and I have no idea what was said so I try to keep notes).

This morning instead of a polite no thank you message, I managed to send someone the private note I intended to make about them.

Bollocks.

It wasn't abusive but it certainly wasn't complimentary

Shit.

Make me feel better please! You've done worse things, right?!

In a day or two, you'll have got over it and will be able to let it go, and mark it up as one of those very silly things that we all do!

I don't reply to all.

I check the profile of nearly every person who messages though (some are missed for various reasons).

What happens after that depends in the profile.

There's only so many times you can write a version of no thanks but good luck and make an appropriate note before your brain turns to slush and trickles out of your ears.

Oops we use private notes a lot, very handy reminder of what's happened 6months ago! And as you say, we also use them for descriptions too, and they are usually not very complimentary

Oh yes I've done plenty worse. I 1s sent a rather errrr explicit text to a girl I had just started see and stupid o'clock 1 mornings as I was going straight to hers after a night shift. 5 minutes later my sister and her hubby rang me unable to speak for laughing. I'm sure you get how this story ends
