Question for the gym frequenters

OK through, cancer treatments and other minor illnesses I have developed a problem.. My backside is basically gone, no muscle, just skin and bone.

This makes sitting for long periods of time e.g. in car or bike, very uncomfortable, and my trousers fall down...

So is there an exercise that will help me target my arse, with the view to making it bigger?

Squats, lunges, deadlift, leg press are all good, but unless they are accompanied by eating a surplus, you won't gain.

drugs I take won't allow surplus, but may be able to take suppliments.

Thanks everyone.

They won't allow you to eat enough to gain weight? Any reason - if you can't keep food down you can try shakes like complan or make your own....

None of these exercises will pad out a bony arse.

Do you have a gel cushion or memory foam? It don't change your shape but may help you comfort wise. Xx

Damn! leg muscles are still pretty big and strong, I am a big person so they get worked hard just carrying me around.

Loss of my arse is probably steroid related same as many of my other issues, which is weird as the chemo itself appears to do less long term damage.

going for more walking, and squats anyway see if I can get any result.

Thanks for your input, most that I ask are completely negative to the need to exercise so I can spend more time sat down.
