Just heard Paul Young's

"Every time you go away" on the radio at work.

It always sounds like he's singing

"Every time you go away, you take a piece of MEAT with you"

Got me wondering if anyone else has classics like this ?

I was in the queue in a really busy Asda one Saturday and my 10 year old daughter was singing along to Bruno Mars "is it the look in your eyes or is it this dancing juice....."

Except what came out of her lips was "Is it the look in your eyes, or is it those dancing Jews....."

"Always thought at the end of Summer of '69 he sings "Me and my baby in a 69" "

I think he does but it's referring to a car, as in the car's age. Could be wrong though.

It's only my filthy mind that's imagining something other than a car then!

A friend of mine always used to sing "Jesus of Nazareth pushed his way inside" to Slipknot's duality. And also "tied to machines that make me pee" to Metallica's one.

Beat me to it...was about to post that one....

...have a book of them somewhere must dig it out as there are some corkers in there...the one that's always stuck with me though was a playground debate when The Jam released their new single and we couldn't decide if it was "Eating Trifles", "E-10 Rifles" or various other combinations on the same theme!!
