Iphone.. Reset lol.

Has anyone else bought the Navigon Full sat nav for their iphone and then followed the instructions to boost the GPS signal... Yeah.. 2 hours it says!

2 Hours my bum, half a fookin day so far!! And still not even reloaded the music or movies..

Not a task to be taken lightly

Still love the bloody things mind..

wots up wiv an a to zed... corners do tend to turn up in the heat and pages discolour ,, but mines great and only me to blame if i get lost,,,,,,,, in fifty yards ,,, make a U turn ,,,

yeah... but its a gadget lol.. Its there and along with having everythng in oe gadget appeals.

Till I loose it I suppose lol..

It's a bit of a bugger if you need to make a phone call or send a text - I always found that I could never do that with an A-Z

My paul connects his nokia to our wi fi router to play with a map thingy on his phone .... but what's the point? he could just use the computor anyway! men!

lmao yeah sirens however if it an iPhone you have or new cell most are touch pad or have functions you can place myspace ,msn blah blah on main screen save ya fiddling sweety on mobile screens are obviously different apps are customed for certain cells .You mentioned talk anymore yes I do it through voip call or skype free not reguler call LOL easier aswell hehehe .totally free mind you on voip if you unlock phone mwah

Notts how is resetting your cell going to solve prob ?,Anyway you do know hit home key & off key same time untill reboots yes that way you won't lose everything

Nahh its all techie stuff... When you install the navigon full turn by turn satnav.. it somehow affects the strength of the GPS .. soft resetting doesn't alter it back.. So a back up.. then full re-set is required.. Done now so all is well.. working fine.

So now its a Phone, sat-nav, a pc, a web browser.. text and mms as well as games the whole nine yards...

Had them for a few years now.. would be seriosly lost without it now.. sad lol..

i use a htc kaiser with tomtom 7 ..bullet proof so far ..touch screen 8gb of onboard mem .works faultlessly ..think navigon and iphone have issues ..

will check around for ya notts

Seems to be working ok so far... Mind, not been anywhere I don't know the way to yet pmsl...

Its quite new to the iphone anyway so bound to have a few niggles.. like most apps though usually ironed out quickly and updated within a week or two..

Its all the other stuff that makes it a great gadget though.. Too many to mention.
