Today, I am making a Banoffee Pie, a sweet treat that literally takes 15 minutes these days thanks to Carnation.

What is your favourite speedy dessert that always tastes better than the effort put in?

Just where I need to be.

Chocolate mini rolls squashed in bottom of bowl, pour on tin of red cherries pie filling then whisk up a chocolate angel delight. A quick tasty trifle. If you want a splash of alcohol in the mini rolls.

Maybe we could have a fab bake sale for Pudsey...

15 minute max desserts

£1 a slice

A nuance on speed dating and even if you don't find a sex God then you can tantalise your taste buds...

As a true sussex boy i have to say you cannot beat a properly made Banoffie pie, only wish i had eaten one at the place that invented it, before it closed. Everytime i drive past it brings a feeling of missed opportunity lol

Depends...

As long as you don't eat it layer by layer.. I want to see Base, banana, caramel and cream with crushed flake in every bite.

Delayering is not what I'd expect from a Lancashire girl though.. so call in for a slice anytime.

It comes with coffee and a big dollop of perving?

Yum - anything with a biscuit base, cheesecake (rolo my fave), keylime, banoffee, millionaires ganache pot. All homemade and all delicious.

Mr loves cheesecake but as he's a gym freak I'm on a ban from making any at the moment.

I will be driving past its birthplace later this evening. Some of you already know it was invented at the restaurant, now sadlyclosed, called the Hungry Monk! You swingers might like to know my parents always spooneristically called it The Mungry Hunk!

I'm a big fan of mug cakes - choclate and peanut butter is a winner for a quick sweet fix

Also Joe Wicks' banana, protein pancakes are a good guilt free option I recommend

I have to say is was scrum-diddly-umptious.

Bravo me...

I do feel a little sick now though and it wasn't a small slice. Plenty left for tomorrow as well.

A good day...

That is going to the top of my list. Sounds lovely especially if it's morello cherries.

Digestive biscuits

Layer of banana

Carnation caramel
