is it just us or does everybody feel insulted by copy and paste msgs.

we get a few and they always get them from single guys now i know guys have to email alot of people to try get a meet, but for us someone who makes an effort always stands out.

So long as they have read the profile and put in the message what we ask for, a well structured and informative C&P message is not so bad.

They don't bother us, mainly as single men get so many knockbacks that I don't blame them for writing a mail to copy and paste.

I am sure they would have the same "time" problems that others have about answering mails.

We also use copy and paste to send replies as a no thanks.

Cut and paste is pretty crap and probably quite insulting as you say. But to be fair to look from the other side for a moment I think a lot of guys do it because they don't get replies and so can't be arsed to put the effort in to send individual messages only to see them deleted every time.

It's a bit of a vicious circle in a way - and not one that can be easily broken.

I just want to add that I fully understand why ladies and couples don't reply to their messages (in fact I agree with it having heard what happens when you say 'no thanks'), but not replying is one reason why it happens I'm afraid.

I always reply to messages which have been written to "me" and unless the copy and paste message is particualrly funny or stands out i just delete

Doesnt insult me i just ignore them to i do think how fucking lazy when they cant even be bothered to change the minor details in a cut and paste from "you look a nice couple" to you look a nice lady. Or worse when they cant be bothered to change the name from the first person they sent it too

I hate copy & paste messages. Guys who are 'playing the numbers game' just appear desperate, and make it obvious that they will shag anybody. Not very attractive!

It doesn't take much gumption for a guy to have an outline 'copy & paste' message, but to tailor it for each couple/lady they find attractive. Just picking out something from the profile, to show that they've read it, and maybe asking a question about something in the profile (not just ' Hi I'm here, would you like to shag me!')

The copy & paste messages I particularly dislike are the ones that say "hi, how are both of you today" - FFS I'm single!
